Designing for Diversity:
Inclusive Multicultural Dolls and Educational Storytelling

Designing play experiences where every child can see their culture represented and feel included, confident, and celebrated.

Designing for children to develop curiosity about cultures beyond their own and learn to appreciate the traditions of different backgrounds.

What is it ?

Each doll is from a different culture and comes with a storybook that helps children explore global traditions and share their own. The mission is to inspire empathy, curiosity, and connection in every little heart.

  • They’re made for children aged 3–6,

encouraging early cultural awareness and social connection.

  • Each doll is handmade with 100% cotton, wool hair, and soft fabrics.

Packaging and accessories use sustainable, child-safe materials.

  • Each set includes one doll, two changeable outfits, one traditional outfit,

and a small storybook that introduces their culture and traditions.

One set of traditional clothing and two sets of clothing that children can mix and match freely.

Educational Storybook

The storybook is another key interactive element. Parents and children can read together to learn about the festival and its traditions. It also includes a DIY page where children can make a small craft or origami to share with friends.

It encourages children to create and share cultural traditions, and future storybooks from other countries will include similar pages to help children celebrate diversity together throughout the year.
